About the Association
Gem Estates MHV Association, Inc. was established to maintain and enhance the quality of life for our residents. Operating under Florida law, the Association is managed by a dedicated Board of Directors and volunteer committees. Together, we ensure adherence to bylaws, manage shared spaces, and provide guidance for property-related matters. Our commitment to transparency and collaboration helps us build a community everyone is proud to call home.
Our Leadership
The Association is governed by an elected Board of Directors and Executive Officers, including a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. These individuals volunteer their time to oversee the community’s day-to-day operations, financial management, and long-term planning.
Meetings and Elections
Regular board meetings are held monthly from November through April, with additional general and special meetings as needed. Annual elections ensure that every resident has a voice in selecting the leaders who shape our community.
Community Guidelines
Living in Harmony
To maintain the peaceful character of our neighborhood, Gem Estates has established guidelines that all residents must follow:
- Age Requirements: All residents must be 55 or older, with exceptions for spouses, domestic partners, or heirs.
- Property Standards: Homes and yards must be well-maintained, with regular inspections to ensure compliance.
- Pet Policies: A maximum of two pets per household is allowed, and all pets must be kept on a leash when not on owner’s property.
Respect for Shared Spaces
Our clubhouse, shuffleboard court, and other facilities are available for resident use, fostering
opportunities for socializing and recreation.
